Kestrels

Teacher:  Miss Chirico, with Learning Support Assistants Mrs Chohan, Mrs Chatterjee, Mrs Tyler, Mr Young and Miss Gillett.

Kestrels have got 11 Year 5 and 12 Year 6 Pupils in class.

We look at each child as an individual and try very hard to best suit their stage and optimum pace of learning with a personalised approach to their development.

We use high quality texts as a stimulus to engage the children in literacy lessons. We follow the White Rose Maths scheme of work as well as Maths Mastery lessons completed once a week.

This year we will be completing three exciting projects: World War II, Ancient Greeks and The Vikings. 

We will engage in a number of learning experiences linked to our projects including a trip to Bletchley Park and The British Museum in London.
