Ravensden CE Primary School

COVID-19 Home Learning

Home Learning:

What will happen if a 'bubble' goes into isolation and your child needs to learn from home?

We hope, of course, that the school will remain open and we will not need to go into lockdown again. We have a tight action plan in place to keep learning as active, and as Ravensden- based as possible in the eventuality that it does. We have utilised a government grant to upgrade our IT capacity and will be using Google Classroom and G-Suite to provide online learning for families.

Teachers are currently receiving training on this new technology, and it will be up and running very soon. **Update 21/9/20- school emails have been created and you will receive information on how to login this week!**

  • A session of English and Maths will take place each day taken from the curriculum sequence for the school.
  • Feedback sessions will be delivered by the class teacher for these lessons
  • Live sessions for foundation subjects may be provided by the class teacher
  • Daily Collective Worship online
  • Continuous activities which will relate to the topics being studied currently in class for foundation subjects
  • We will continue to use Class Dojo to communicate and share work and the school website
