Kestrels

Teacher:  Mrs Flack, with Learning Support Assistants Miss Gillett and Mr Young. 

Kestrels have got 5 Year 5 and 7 Year 6 Pupils in class.

We look at each child as an individual and try very hard to best suit their stage and optimum pace of learning with a personalised approach to their development.

We use high quality texts as a stimulus to engage the children in literacy lessons. We follow the White Rose Maths scheme of work.

This year we will be completing three exciting projects: Life in Tudor England, The Sikh Empire and The Census and our Local Area. 

We will engage in a number of learning experiences linked to our projects including a trip to The Globe Theatre in London and the Observatory.
