The enthusiastic Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) plays a very active role in supporting the community of Ravensden Primary School, through its ongoing organisation of fundraising events to purchase curricular and extra curricular materials, and offering support to the school’s activities.
Over the years the PTA have provided funds for the school to help purchase:
Shelving for the library, playground climbing apparatus, Christmas decorations, coaches to places of interest for school visits, trips to the theatre, football kit, and Pre-school resources.
2018-19: projector for hall and new pull down screen, plus a trolley for projector and laptop
Bird feeders
Pond liner and plants
Contribution to transport costs for school trips
Lost Property Box
Prizes for competitions
Christmas / Easter art and craft materials & extras!
